I can’t for the life of me find a detailed log of why mPlayer is failing despite having logging turned on… what’s up with that? ALL of my ISO’s that I have ripped work flawlessly under mPlayer for windows and some do play using nitoTV (for example, Poseidon, Aliens - No problems at all) so I don’t think it’s my ISO’s I am rapidly loosing my patience with all of this, I just want something that works. This also crashed AppleTV!!! Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh!! This also crashed AppleTV I then ripped the DVD, again with DVDFab, into a folder this time instead of an ISO file.

I then read an article which suggested that DVDFab was the best tool to use as it removes ALL the latest copy protection mechanisms, so I created another ISO using DVDFab, this time the ISO was just the movie (i.e. it contained menus, special features etc). The original ISO I created was a DVD clone (i.e. Any which way I tried, using pretty much all of the nitoTV settings it crashed AppleTV. I originally used DVD Decrypter to create a copy protection free ISO image file. The movie in question is “House Of Wax” region 2. This evening I tried another round of tests using a movie which doesn’t play and causes AppleTV to crash. I have placed several posts on this forum trying to get some answers about DVD ISO Playback through AppleTV but as yet nobody has provided any answers.
